Agatha is a French fashion jewelry brand founded by Michel Quiniou. He was inspired to create a fashion jewelry brand that bridged the gap between luxury boutiques and low-profile small boutiques. In 1974, he launched his line of fashion jewelry with an unusual goal in mind: turning cheap into chic. The first Agatha boutique was opened in 1976 on rue de Rennes in Paris. It has an extensive glamorous collection of earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, watches, brooches and an unlimited collection of dazzling charms.

The Scottish Terrier has been the company's mascot since the 1970s.
