🌟 Design & Inspiration

Marcel Boucher, a former Cartier designer, was known for sculptural, jewel-quality costume pieces. This 1961 starburst captures the era's fascination with the Space Age and celestial motifs — bold, radiant and wonderfully three-dimensional. It makes an eye-catching finish on a coat, blazer or knit and is equally at home as a collector's piece.

Caring for vintage jewelry

Vintage jewelry lasts longest when kept dry and stored separately. Put it on last and take it off first: perfume, hairspray and skin cream all attack the plating.

Polish only with a soft, dry cloth. No water, no soap and no silver polish — that strips the layer off.
