About Valentino
Valentino was founded in Rome in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and became a byword for refined Italian glamour. Its costume jewellery was designed to accompany the seasonal couture collections — gilt metal, sparkling crystals, faux pearls and the iconic V logo, combined into elegant, feminine statement pieces.

Caring for vintage jewelry
Vintage jewelry lasts longest when kept dry and stored separately. Put it on last and take it off first: perfume, hairspray and skin cream all attack the plating.
Polish only with a soft, dry cloth. No water, no soap and no silver polish — that strips the layer off.
