About Carven
Carven was founded in Paris in 1945 by Marie-Louise Carven, who created elegant couture with a youthful, feminine touch. The house's costume jewellery — above all its enamelled animal and bird brooches of the 1980s — is loved for its refined gilt work, vivid colour and playful Parisian charm.

Caring for vintage jewelry
Vintage jewelry lasts longest when kept dry and stored separately. Put it on last and take it off first: perfume, hairspray and skin cream all attack the plating.
Polish only with a soft, dry cloth. No water, no soap and no silver polish — that strips the layer off.
