Attwood & Sawyer was founded in Wales in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was his partner). They became known for designs that recreated precious ornaments from the 18th and 19th centuries. The company produced many pieces for the television series 'Dallas' and 'Dynasty', as well as exclusive creations for the 'Miss World' pageant. It also made high-quality imitation jewellery, sold through prestigious stores across the UK, Europe and beyond. The Duchess of Windsor personally recognised the house for its exact reproductions of her own jewels.
