About Alice Caviness
Alice Caviness founded her costume jewellery company in New York after the Second World War. Her designs are known for their quality and rich colour — glass stones, faux pearls and intricate settings — and are popular with collectors of American vintage jewellery.

Caring for vintage jewelry
Vintage jewelry lasts longest when kept dry and stored separately. Put it on last and take it off first: perfume, hairspray and skin cream all attack the plating.
Polish only with a soft, dry cloth. No water, no soap and no silver polish — that strips the layer off.
