Oscar de la Renta, born in 1932 in the Dominican Republic, was a renowned fashion designer known for his elegant and feminine designs. After training under Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio Castillo, he launched his own label in 1965, which quickly gained recognition thanks to its luxurious and refined aesthetic.
